Discover one of the popular freediving gems of Panglao, Bohol. With about 6 to 8 meters in depth, the airplane wreck is very accessible even for beginner freedivers. The easy accessibility, the shallow depth, and the vibrant colors result in the most amazing photos and videos imaginable.

We will meet up at the Freedive Academy. We’ll get you into your freediving gear and bring you to the location. Here are two options;

We swim all together with buoys and floats from the beach at Oceanica Resort, which is about a 10-minute swim.
The other option is via awaiting Banca (Philippine native boat) close to the plane wreck, which will bring you directly to the wreck and dive spot. This is the more expensive option but offers a nice ride and resting point for those looking to take a break from diving and photos.

Our accredited dive guides are very experienced freedivers themselves and will coach you on the best way to dive for the photos and videos.

This freediving tour will be one to remember. After the tour, you will enjoy your free (non-alcoholic) drink at the amazing Oceanica Resort, which has a white beach and palm trees and is also a breathtaking photo opportunity.

After the drink and some relaxation, you’ll be brought back to the Freedive Academy for showers, changing attire, and passing over the GoPro photos and videos.

Duration & Itinerary:

The tour times vary depending on your selection. It starts at either 9 AM, finishing by around 10:30 AM, or 1:30 PM, finishing around 3:00 PM.

Resort or Hotel Pickup: If your gear has been fitted in advance, our driver will pick you up from your hotel or resort 20 minutes before the tour—either at 8:40 AM or 1:10 PM, depending on your scheduled time.
Oceanica Resort: The wreck site is located at Oceanica Resort Beach. The actual tour lasts between 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Return to Resort or Hotel: Once you’re done with the swim and ready to go, the driver will take you back to your resort or hotel.

Inclusions:

Freediving rental equipment
Completely free all unedited GoPro photos and videos
One non-alcoholic drink at Oceanica Resort
Taxes, environmental fees, and snorkeling fees
Pickup and dropoff at resort or hotel
Banca boat trip to the airplane wreck
Training and accreditation fee for the guides (tipping is always welcome)

Meeting Point: Please note that the freediving equipment needs to be fitted at the Freeedive Academy in Tangnan Panglao.

This can happen the day before the tour, and then we will organize pickup at your hotel or resort on the tour day.

When the gear fitting happens on the tour day, the meetup time is 30 minutes before the tour time at Freedive Academy. From the Academy, we will then bring you to Oceanica to proceed with the tour.

Important Note: Free pick-up is only available for guests staying around Panglao and Dauis (near Panglao). Please ensure your gear is fitted beforehand for a smooth pickup.

Really really good few hours doing whale sharks with Ben. They took us to a less crowded location which still had lots of sharks. Then because we had our own guide in the water we were allowed to get closer to the sharks. Ben took amazing videos/photos of us under water. Probably the best photo I have.
